How to use Geotagging
Geotags are marked with this icon:
If you click on it you will be brought to the geographic location of the picture/event. In order for Geotagging to work you need to have Google Earth installed.
Google Earth should be configured to be the default application for .kml. We recommend that you turn only 3D building on by un-checking PrimaryDatabase in the Google Earth Layers bar and checking '3D Buidlings' in the Google Earth Layers bar. Whenever you see the globe-icon next to a picture or text, click on it to invoke the Geotag.
To install a free version of Google Earth, click here.
To test Geotags, click
to see the front of the White House (in 3D, if so configured).
Have fun, Andreas
